5 Skincare Products To Build Your Natural Skincare Ritual for Optimal Results

When it comes to your skincare ritual, we understand that it can get a little confusing.

What order should you use your products in? Do you have to repeat the exact same ritual morning and night? Are there tricks for applying your products for better results?

In today’s post we want to take the confusion out of your skincare routine so it can become something you look forward to.

It’s a beautiful way to take some time for yourself and create a daily mindfulness ritual but that may be a little hard to do when you’re feeling confused and flustered.

If you've been around here for a while you know that we believe the ingredients you use matter. We encourage you to avoid toxic synthetic products that aren’t going to serve your skin, or overall health for that matter, and instead spend your money on products formulated with ingredients designed to nurture and nourish your skin as it uplifts and soothes your senses.

That’s where we come in!

Today’s post will be based on our products since we have everything you need for a complete and wonderful routine!

Serum

A serum is often applied later in your skincare routine and we will talk about that in just a moment.

Because our basic serum is simply 100% pure jojoba oil, it can be used as the first step in your skincare routine too, to help dissolve all traces of dirt, grime and makeup.

An oil is wonderful for cleansing, as it doesn’t strip the skin’s natural oils as many conventional cleansers do.

When your skin is stripped of natural oils, it might lead to acne and other problems as your skin tries to repair itself and this can take months once your skin barrier has been impaired.

Jojoba oil is an especially wonderful oil to use because it is the one oil that most closely resembles the skin’s own sebum, meaning your pores will drink it up and it will leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated, yet never greasy. Jojoba oil also has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that will help to soothe troubled skin while it perfectly balances hydration.

Massage into dry skin for at least 2 minutes, breaking up and loosening any makeup and excess oils or grime before using a soft, damp towel to gently wipe it off. You may repeat this step twice if necessary, especially if you won’t be using our scrub to follow up.

Of course our serum should also be applied as your very last step to help lock in nutrients and add a layer of healthy, protective moisture.

Scrub

Exfoliation is key for healthy skin; it helps to slough off dead skin cells that may clog your pores and contribute to blemishes, not to mention a dull, lackluster complexion.

Our scrubs, formulated with luxurious ingredients, including our signature jojoba oil and pure sea salt, are an absolute dream for your skin! That's because this ancient salt contains more than 60 healing trace minerals!

Our scrub can be the first step in your routine if your skin is fairly clean and you aren’t removing makeup, otherwise we recommend an oil cleanse with our serum first. Be sure to always rinse your skin with lukewarm, not hot water, as hot water strips the skin of natural oils.

While it isn’t necessary to exfoliate more than once or twice a week, our scrubs are gentle enough to use more frequently. In fact, we have customers who swear that using it daily has drastically reduced redness and scarring in their skin, we have testimonials and pictures to prove it!

Facial spray

A facial spray is one underrated product in our opinion. When it’s as full of nourishing ingredients as ours is, it’s a step you are not going to want to skip!

For our sprays, we start with reverse osmosis water and infuse our signature salt and essential oils.

Spray it directly onto your skin after you have cleansed and scrubbed your skin, when your pores are open and ready to drink it up!

Use your fingertips to gently press into your skin and then follow up with our serum while your skin is still slightly damp for optimal absorption!

It's also great to use anytime of the day for a little refresher.

Face mask

A face mask is a great way to treat your skin and our blackhead mask has fast become a cult favorite with our loyal customers!

Whether you have troubled skin or not, we all deal with blackheads, your nose will prove this to you!

This incredible mask is formulated with just three ingredients to pull blackheads up and out so they are one less thing you need to stress about!

Apply our blackhead mask to areas with blackheads and leave it on overnight for best results.

You may also decide to opt for our beginner kit which includes this mask along with one of our bestselling scrubs and our serum.

Vitamin C

This is one antioxidant Vitamin that is actually better applied topically than it is to take orally when you are after skin benefits.

Vitamin C, dubbed “the beauty vitamin” helps to fight skin inflammation, reduce redness, boost collagen production and brighten for a noticeable, luminous glow, sometimes after just one use!

Our Luxe C17 Serum is a beautiful treat for your skin, and should be applied at night to work its magic while you get your beauty rest. While SPF should be worn daily, year round, it becomes that much more important if you have slept in this serum or if you apply it in the morning.

Apply this serum to cleansed skin, after your facial spray, and follow it up with a generous application of our serum to lock in its benefits.

We hope this article has helped you to make more sense of your skincare ritual and how and when to use your products for best results!
