Recipe for Apple Cider Vinegar Toner

Here is a great recipe to make at home for a quick toner:

  • 1 Part Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2-6 Parts Water

You can dilute more if you need to, but you must dilute it by half. For example, if I were making a large batch, I would use 1 cup of water and 1 cup of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar. Dilute more if it is too strong for you.

Store in a bottle, and then use a cotton round to apply to the face. It should last you a long time!

Never apply undiluted to the face. Apple Cider Vinegar is great to restore the skin's natural acidity. The skin is 4.5-5.5 pH (more acidic), so using vinegar is an awesome way to "tone" the skin back down. Vinegar also helps with adding protein back to the skin, lightening age spots, removing excess oil, and clears up acne.

It can get kind of smelly, but after it has dried on the face, it will be much better.

Try it and let us know how it goes!

Oh that’s great Heidi! I’m so glad to hear that!

Heidi Keele

So I tried the apple cider vinegar toner today and…….I’m amazed at the results. I’ve never seen my skin look so refreshed and vibrant. I can hardly see my pores. My skin feels calm and happy. The scent of vinegar is a little strong, however once it dries (like Laura mentioned) it is undetectable. What a cool tip and one that saves a few $$. Plus I feel good that i don’t have numerous toxic chemicals sitting on my skin. Thanks Laura!!! You’re the best!!

Hey Tracy!

So glad this post helped you! Let me know how the olive and jojoba do! They are both in our Calendula Salt Scrub on the products page! You don’t actually scrub with the salt, but use it as a mask, and then wash it off and rub the oil in. Good luck with everything- and thanks for visiting our site!
